I stayed at their Airbnb cottage with my baby & pocket-size canis familiaris, information technology was PERFECT and the hosts are then sweet. The alpacas/wild animals are great but if you're looking for a getaway I would definitely check out their Airbnb 🙂 The cottage was warm & cozy with all of the things you would find in a well stocked hotel room plus a full kitchen and laundry. Yous're in the mountains so it'due south quiet and secluded as well. Treat yourself if you become the chance!

Sonia was very welcoming! We laughed the whole time! This is Definitely a place to visit! Only $ten and it was well worth it! Best experience always

I took my parents and kids hither, and we all loved it! My son loved playing with the goats, my girl loved the donkeys, and my mother loved the souvenir shop! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Farragut Country Park

Lakefront state park boasts hiking/skiing trails, water sports, disc golf, picnic areas & campsites.

Slide 1 of three

Clean and organized. Lots to exercise both on and off the water. I loved that RV parking options were amend than many camping areas with extra room to breathe and have a lilliputian privacy. Trails were fun. Bayview was also fun and full of history.

My married woman and I love this place. It is become our regular go to place for outdoor activities camping ground cycle riding and hiking. There's miles and miles and miles of trails and let'south non forget frisbee golf. Campsites are nice and spread autonomously people are friendly. Great RC flying field. Unfortunately Idaho state parks doubled their costs for out of land residence which makes a Farragut State Park and all other Idaho parks unaffordable. Yearly vehicle pass is now $80 and a one dark stay is $74. We volition continue to go along daily basis but probably non to army camp anymore. If you're an Idaho resident I highly recommend this place. And if you want to get out for a day of hiking and biking there isn't a better place around.

I came to play the five disc golf courses and was not disappointed. In that location are a huge number of camping spaces including lots of full hookup RV sites, but we opted to stay in a camping camp that had estrus and Ac. Park has tons of lake frontage, trails, etc. All in all an outstanding park with lots of infinite and lots of civilities.

Took the family tubing and skiing. The gondola was a fun ride with beautiful views if information technology's a articulate day. The people were all amazing and happy as well. Overall it was only a slap-up time. There is also a water park but y'all definitely want to go on line and schedule the tubing and h2o park in accelerate. Yous tin unremarkably purchase a package with your hotel stay or buy seperate. There are restaurants at top and lesser of gondola

Argent mountain is an incredible place to ski. The staff are all friendly and the mountain - despite beingness on the smaller side - is fun to explore. While I can't speak to snow conditions throughout the season, it'south always been fantastic in March. I'thousand grateful that they still have an indoor area for people who bring their ain lunches. This is a resort that remains true to the good one-time ski civilisation. Never change, Argent Mountain.

We didn't stay at the resort. Withal, we snowfall tubed and ate at the restaurant at the top of the Mt. The await was over an hr after ordering our nutrient just it was to exist expected every bit it was Saturday at lunch time. Food was slap-up, waitstaff excellent simply the accented best function was snowfall tubing. Clean-cut runs and a magic carpet to bring you back up!! Had a boom volition return.

Easy access yet spectacularly remote. Bully place to go and get lost for a few days. I came in from Couer D'alene. At showtime the river is wide and deadening as it flows through some sparsely populated neighborhoods settled on the river. College upwardly the river starts to tumble and narrow with squeamish plunge pools below the riffles. Past the town of Avery is my favorite area. Simply it can exist a challenge if you're fishing. At that place are plenty of turnouts merely getting downwardly to the river and making your way along it takes some dedication but it'south worth it. When yous're ready to leave (or when you have to..) y'all tin can just follow the same road all the way dorsum to I-90. It turns into a dirt road for a scrap but it'due south in good shape. It volition have y'all through the "Gold Pass" along the way. It'south a dainty bulldoze by itself.

Nosotros went this last week with my wife, Brother-in-law, and their aunt. it was amazing. Chris and the other immature guy was amazing!!! The photographer took great pictures. they mad united states of america all very comfortable, were entertaining and funny, and very safe. I would love to become back and would definitely recommend them. and do non inexpensive out.. pay the extra for the Large Daddy it is their concluding longest zip line, also get the pictures they are worth it!!! Ethan and Chris are the best honestly everyone that works here is wonderful. Keen family run business it was a great experience for our family will come back over again and we would highly recommend this place to everyone.

This place was so much fun! Anybody was happy and friendly. Each run, they were very thorough with checking the safe equipment and as well giving verbal instructions. 1 instructor always goes first so he is waiting for you lot, the other stays to assist you. At that place were only a couple little uphill treks, they drove you in a buggy otherwise which was nice. I had a peachy fourth dimension so did my boyfriend who'd never done it. Bonus part: the boondocks is so quaint and small with good food and an antique shop.

Sierra Argent Mine Tour, Inc.

Guided tour of an undercover silvery mine plus a souvenir store selling regional specialties & rocks.

Slide 1 of 3

My wife and I took this bout the second twenty-four hours it was open this year and were the only two in our time slot. Very friendly staff and the guide who led the trolly ride to and from the mine provided a very entertaining and informative history of Wallace. Fast Freddy (awesome!) met united states of america at the mine and guided us into the mountain. A former silver miner for decades, he provided a fascinating and insightful tour filled with details that only someone with his years of experience could. We've been through several mines, and this was the first to actually demonstrate working mining equipment…that actually made the history come to life. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone with even a coincidental interest in mining or the history of the West.

Took my 11 year sometime and eight yr old to do the mine bout. We bought our tickets at the station and mined for minerals inside the store. We also got ice cream inside the store. Then the adorable trolley came and picked us upward and gave u.s.a. a little bout of the town and took us to the mine. My boys idea the mine was actually interesting. Our tour guide was very informative. He let the boys turn on some of the equipment. I had never been inside a mine before and I thought information technology was very neat. Very attainable too. At that place are about 25 steps to the mine entrance and the inside of the cave is flat. We drove over and did the Pulaski trail afterwards. Such a fun day!

We had a bang-up time. The bout was very interesting and Lee, our guide, was patient and answered all of our questions. My one suggestion is, tell people who bring their dogs that the machinery is VERY loud, non a piffling loud, and there is a vibration that will startle them. It was a bully feel. I would also advise, if y'all head back to the due west, out of Wallace, do stop at the memorial for the Sunshine Mining disaster. Is is impressive.

l,000 Silver Dollar Inn

Family-run motel offering a casino, casual dining & a rustic bar with an expansive coin collection.

Slide i of 3

I think it's funny how people expect so much from a place with a great reputation, but the reality of it is that the silverish dollar inn doesn't have too much going for it which is what I love about it. I spent the night here with my family and nosotros had a slap-up time with the scenery existence out in the heart of nowhere. Merely the soft roar of the motorway and the company of other people. Truly I love the gift shop and the restaurant and bar was also delightful. The hotel rooms were nice and clean and I was made feel very welcome there. I can't await to get back and stay longer so I can explore the residue of Montana.

I'll share this from a Truckers perspective: 1. Parking - There is always truck parking no thing the time of day or night. ii. Bathrooms - Have always been clean every fourth dimension I've been here. 3. C Store - Normal, not a lot of options. iv. Has a cabin. I can't annotate on it considering I haven't stayed in it. 5. Restaurant and bar - Restaurant has been practiced, not great, the couple times I've eaten there. I similar the bison burger and land fried steak. Still, the menu is overpriced and banal. Likewise, they are open until 2300, but just serve dinner until 2130. So, not great. Did I mention overpriced? Oasis't drank at the bar and so tin't comment. 6. Gift shop - A large tourist trap. There are some absurd things, though, if y'all look hard enough. vii. Huckleberry ice cream - Awesome! This is the reason I finish here. Very skillful. eight. Has a small casino if you're into that. So, it has some adept stuff and whatever stuff. I'll come up back for the ice cream and parking.

Very nice and cozy motel. Spotless rooms with nice showers. The desk staff was very polite and informative. The restaurant serves a very nice breakfast. The portion is far ameliorate than any other eatery. Very make clean and serenity environment. Souvenir store has a lot of interesting collection for all the age groups. This place has a very big parking lot, particularly for the big rig. Easy in and easy out.

And yeah the Huckleberry milkshakes are amazing just there's and then much more to the shop. Clean restrooms food options for in that location or to go.

Tin can we talk for a second nigh how absurd this place was? There is a tank full of trout for my kids to gawk at. The blueberry shakes were out of this world. I could have spent all twenty-four hours at the adorable souvenir shop. ...and gourmet flavored cotton candy??? Need I say more?

Not bad identify to end when your on the road. Broad variety of items in gift shop and convenience store. Haven't eaten there or had a shake. Staff always very friendly and make sure everyone is taken care of. Very decorated in the summertime months, gets a piffling hectic around there, but it's a dandy positive temper. You can tell he loves what he does for a living!! I would recommend this trip to anyone! Fun heady rapids and nice calm areas to talk and adore the beauty of the surface area.

Where do I kickoff? The belly laughs? The family memories? The stories from the guide that were and so incredibly awful they were hilarious? Rock jumping, raft rodeos, special moments with teenagers who were non completely focused on their electronics...these are the things that make moms happy. Aaron was hands down the abiding who made our family outing awesome. He was able to read the group and suit lanes every bit needed with the rapids. Can't wait to come dorsum. Thank Yous, Wiley E. My son and I had a great time and enjoyed the slopes here. Cute place and non as well crowded. Maybe information technology was merely the cold but we volition definitely return.

This was our first trip to Blacktail and information technology didn't disappoint. Virtually notable are the employees. Nosotros drove straight through from Wisconsin and were greeted past the smiling confront of Rickie at the ticket window. Although all the employees were friendly, Tim, located at the entrance to the Olympic Lift, was positive, motivating and complimentary to all the guests. It'southward so refreshing to see employees engaged in their job. An added plus was the awesome view and being able to grab a table and bring our lunch into the social club.

It started with a fun and educational session for the kids with Ranger Kay, at the visitors center. Then a bully venture out on nice open hiking paths, while enjoying the wild animals and other hikers every bit well.

We enjoy this park So MUCH! They offer several kids/developed education classes (most complimentary!) To larn almost the outdoors and the wild animals in the park. The visitor facility is always tidy and a great stop to check out for locals and travelers! The only "downfall" was one of the classes we joined in on was a new ranger from out of state was teaching most local vegetation and edible resources you lot tin find in our forests. Notwithstanding- the reason I mention she was not local is I found most questions we had she either Googled or did non know. I don't know how their programme training works but she may have felt more confident with preparation prior to leading the group. Otherwise all the classes we accept attended have been wonderful !

We were very happy with the accommodations at the local resort and the lodge itself is very roomy with lots of fires! The ski schoolhouse was great for the kids to learn to snowboard for the first time! We took lessons and went on some of the easier runs. We plan on going to two or three more over the adjacent couple of days. The lodge is beautiful and the prices are more than than reasonable! Smashing value for a family vacation

Fantastic variety. No one will be lament. Copse galore, moguls galore, steep, gradual and choices to choose all in a unmarried run from Summit (chair 2). Easier stuff on chair 3 forth with terrain park and one-half pipe. Chair 11 should be experts simply as all dejection require a lot of double poling. Beautiful chutes throughout. Better value than any Colorado bargain hills.

Rise college-historic period stars perform in pop Broadway musicals at this summertime stock theater.

Slide 1 of 3

In total disclosure earlier I review, my daughter is a bandage member. We travelled to see her perform in all four shows. My husband and I kept saying to each other after every prove "...no ane is going to believe united states back home when we tell them how absolutely professional and astonishing these shows are". Our family has seen a good fleck of theatre over the last five years (and paid much more for tickets) and are and then incredibly impressed with the quality of the Bigfork Summer Playhouse shows that we just saw. The choreography was top-notch! Vocals absolutely stellar! Transitions were seamless. The live musicians were excellent. Likewise, I am non sure when/if I have always seen improve acting! Drowsy Chaperone was hysterical...the whole audience was laughing nearly of the fourth dimension. Joseph was a delight on many levels. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was simply beautiful. Mama Mia was so great that nosotros were still singing the songs in the car on the style habitation. I volition most certainly follow the careers of many of these actors to watch for their inevitable successes professionally!

Nosotros had a wonderful time watching Elf. They need to accept roped lines for waiting in line though or some sort of organization. We went in the door thinking we had to substitution our on line tickets as that's the notification nosotros got but found out we didn't. We were waiting for our girl to park and bring together up with us & just stood inside. We saw the lady selling tickets say something so I went over to encounter what she said, she basically told us the line was in one spot (the vestibule was PACKED) so NO 1 coming in knew where the line was, and that we were ALL crowding. Well if that's the case the solution would exist to have some direction before it gets to that point in the lobby. It's winter folks no 1 wants to await out in the cold. Other than that it was so festive & a smashing show. I would honey to help out if you need.....

I like the experience of the place, it was nice seeing the shows. They demand to fire the quondam lady at the front. $72 over the course of two days, and she was crotchety and angry both times.

It'due south totally worth it. This is a little shop with souvenirs, a bakery and other types of food. No cell phone service and it'southward nigh Canada! At that place are a couple big dogs that greet you and they are sweet. The staff here is friendly. The views are prissy also. If you're thinking about making the drive from Whitefish or Glacier, but do it. Don't forget to purchase a delicious bear claw.

It's a bit of a drive to get to, but it totally worth it for the bakes goods - try the huckleberry bear claws. There is a nice picnic area and a identify for the kids to stretch their legs after the drive. At that place are some souvenirs (t-shirts, cozies, books) in the mercantile for purchase.

Definitely an adventure to go at that place simply a unique little community with a nice baker and store. Yes I tried the huckleberry bearclaw and it was succulent 😋

Incredible trip! Took the 3 day pack trip ~15 miles in. Coming from Chicago, the views were breathtaking. The experience was rewarding. Although our group was comfortable in the outdoors based on previous camping, we had barely whatsoever riding feel prior to this. Don't let that finish you if you were similar u.s.. The guides (Nelson and Kevin) were informative, reaffirming, and listened. They took whatever concern you had seriously, and addressed it to ensure you were comfortable. Information technology truly is your trip and what you want to do. Our camp cook, Stephanie, made fantastic meals, simply nosotros besides found ourselves sitting at the table or riding the trails sharing stories with her. She was astonishing. The rides can exist hard at times—very steep inclines/switchbacks. But, yous demand to and acquire to trust your horse. They're incredible animals—literal athletes in every sense—that the outfitters truly treat and y'all learn to truly respect/admire. The horses accept done these trails hundreds of times, then you chop-chop acquire to trust what you acquire during your orientation, but more importantly, trust your equus caballus when technical parts of the trail come in front. Only negative/feedback I would requite to SMO is to be more clear on tipping at the stop of the trip. Although stated on the site and materials provided, it was still confusing at the end of the trip. All because we wanted to brand sure nosotros were compensating everyone appropriately for an amazing trip! Just caused a little frustration among the larger group merely nothing to deter from this experience. You lot'll see views you would never exist able to meet any other way. You'll experience new, sometimes challenging but ever rewarding, things when it comes to the ride. And, you'll make some friends along the way. Recommending to all my friends/family. Thank you SMO! We took a 2 hour horse ride tour. Our bout guide Ethan was super informative. The horses were in really good shape and well trained. The tour was on fourth dimension and really a pleasant feel
